District War Memorial, Cumbernauld Road, Stepps. The War Memorial was carved by Scott & Rae of Eglinton Street, Glasgow and unveiled in April 1921. It originally stood at the junction of Blenheim Avenue and Cumbernauld Road. When this road was widened in 1954 the Memorial was moved to its present position at the entrance to Stepps Park. |
